DOLE- Capiz Holds Career Guidance Seminar
According to DOLE Information Officer William Dungog this provides direction to incoming college students as to what course would be best to take.

He added that said activity in Cabug-Cabug National High School in President Roxas, which was attended by 353 graduating high school students, was in partnership with Roxas City Public Employment Services Office (PESO) head Milagros Barquin.

Dungog, who discussed Jobs Fit: DOLE vision for 2020, encouraged students to properly plan their course and chosen career with their parents and persons responsible for their education.

Emphasis on prioritizing blue collar instead of the traditional while collar jobs were also made, he said, pointing out the need of skill workers and other countries and possibility of self-employment through small and medium enterprise.

On the other hand, Barquin, he said, focused her discussion on job opportunities, recruitment, hiring and illegal-recruitment.

He added that Barquin also spelled out on vigilance against those who are prowling around to entice those below 20 years old which is basically an apparent illegal recruitment activity.

The career guidance as well as job opportunity seminars are designed for both graduating high school and college students, Dungog said. (JCM/JBG/PIA6-Capiz)
