Capiz New PNP Head Vows Quality Service
Newly installed officer –in-charge of the Capiz Police Provincial Office, Police Sr. Supt. Ulysses Caton, stressed that they will provide a continuous security to the ongoing rehabilitation projects of the various local government units and national agencies in the province.
He said that the people can always count on the police to secure the area especially those where recovery and rehabilitation projects are being implemented.
Caton, who replaced Capiz OIC Police Director Thomas Frias Jr. after serving here for three months, also said that they will continue to provide quality law enforcement services, especially on the campaign against illegal drugs, illegal gambling, illegal logging and other forms of criminality.
He also assured that the Integrated Transformation Program, specifically the Peace and Order Agenda for Transformation and Upholding the Rule of Law (PATROL) PLAN 2030 will be implemented with competence, organizational reform, discipline, excellence and professionalism.
“We will be implementing the program down to all members of the police in order to attain the vision of credible, reliable, highly capable and effective public servants,” Caton said.
In his message during the turnover of command, March 1, Capiz Governor Victor Tanco reassured the Capiz police of the full support of the provincial government here.
He also acknowledged the hard work of Frias especially during the devastation of super typhoon Yolanda in Capiz.
Tanco said that during the time of adversity with the calamity, Frias has proven his commitment and translated the true meaning of service above self.
The turnover of command was graced by PNP6 Deputy Regional Director for Administration Alberto Supapo with Capiz local officials and representatives from the various national agencies and private groups. (JSC/JBG-PIA6 Capiz)
