The Capiz’ revenue goal for April was set at P67.744 million, Revenue District Officer Gil Tabanda said, adding that the highest collection for the month was on income taxes, followed by the value added taxes, other percentage taxes, other taxes and excise taxes.

Tabanda also revealed that for this year, Bureau of Internal Revenue-Capiz targets to collect P681.394 million in revenues, while a collection target of P1.003 trillion in taxes or 13 percent higher than the collection goal last year, which was P940 billion, is aimed nationwide.

While there is a continuous positive revenue collection in the province, Tabanda still urges Capiceños to pay the exact taxes and ask for official receipts for every purchase of goods and rendered service.

He also calls on every taxpayer to be vigilant and help in the tax campaign, which will benefit the Filipino people through the delivery of various programs and services.
