Visayas Ombudsman Welcomes More Support To Capiz Caravan PDF Print E-mail
In particular, Western Visayas Associate Graft Investigation Officer Evangeline Nunal said the door is open to pharmaceutical companies who would like to support the medical and dental services of the caravan at the Capiz Gymnasium in Roxas City.

"We would appreciate any support that these companies would provide for the beneficiaries of the project," said Nunal.
Their office would be ready to entertain any inquiries that these companies would have regarding their intention to participate in the caravan, added Nunal.

The caravan was launched in Western Visayas in 2007 by the Office of the Ombudsman for the Visayas headed by Deputy Ombudsman Pelagio Apostol to give opportunity to people from indigent families and far-flung barangays to avail of government social services.

Capiz Gov. Victor Tanco Sr. thanked the Office of the Ombudsman for the caravan of government services that would be held in their province.

More than 30 government agencies and 300 volunteers are expected to participate in then activity. (PIA 6)
