All Systems Go For Brownout-Free Elections PDF Print E-mail
Capelco Information Officer Kenneth Emmanuel Tipon said “as long as there is supply of power from generation companies, all electric companies in the Philippines will distribute power to its respective franchise areas.”

Tipon said they have already received a memorandum circular from the Department of Energy and National Electrification Administration to ensure that there would be no brown-out during election day.

As long as all the systems work well, Tipon said Capiz will be having an electric power supply.

He said they will deploy their maintenance crews, linemen and other personnel for 24 hours, seven days a week to immediately respond to some problems before and after election day.

The Capelco is one of the agencies that participated in the Joint Security Coordinating Center conference earlier held at the Capiz Police Provincial Office.

The conference aimed to review police deployment and security plan during the election period.
