Roxas City PNP Launches Mobile PA System PDF Print E-mail
The activity was led by RCPS - Police Community Relations (PCR) section Chief Insp. Rowell Buccat who also informed barangay officials and residents on the recent accomplishments by the city's law enforcers on illegal drugs as well as gambling and other criminality campaigns.

Buccat said that the initiative is an electronic amplification system that will announce a canned anti-criminality campaign around the city to empower the public against lawless elements.

The launching of the mobile PA system was in support to the city government's peace and order and public safety agenda.

It was also in view of the PCR Month celebration with the theme "Matatag na Pagkakaisa ng Pambansang Pulisya at Mamamayan Tungo sa Kapayapaan at Kaunlaran."

The month-long observance is embodied in Presidential Proclamation No. 764 which declares the month of July of every year as PCR Month.

RCPS has also conducted a press conference on its anti-crime program and the city's current peace and order situation early this month.

During the media interaction, RCPS chief P/Supt. Leo Batiles said that the campaign against illegal drugs, gambling, robbery and various forms of street crimes, among others, will be the priority of the RCPS this year. (A. Lumaque-PIA)
